We have seen real diamonds and synthetic diamonds, but Virtual Diamonds? How about some rubies? This page gives you images of these gems and more. Part of a gallery of images produced at Charles University located in Prague in the Czech Republic, these pictures were generated during a study using raytracing techniques to simulate realistic diffraction of light. Moreover, the authors have included a sequence of images exploring parallel radiosity.
